What Is "Xunxi"?

The concept comes from ancient Buddhist philosophy.

Picture a robe stored in a cedar chest alongside rare incense. The robe has no fragrance of its own — yet after time, it carries a scent so deep that no washing will lift it. This is vāsanā: the way an environment quietly transforms what dwells within it.
